POVEC C1 Performance Sunglasses

Lightweight, and comfortable. I wore them paddleboarding, both tints work great and the case clips right onto my board. Stylish and practical!

Absolutely love these! Ever since I got my Povec glasses, I no longer have to carry around multiple pairs when I go out. The dual light and dark modes are exactly what I need. The only downside is that they currently only come with non-prescription lenses, which is a bit of a bummer for those of us who are nearsighted. However, I reached out to the Povec team and they mentioned they're working on prescription lenses. Can't wait for that to roll out soon!

I have retinitis pigmentosa and am very light sensitive. I can wear these longer than most sunglasses as I can adjust them for moving between bright sunshine and shade. For that reason, I have decided to keep them. I find the control very hit or miss. I don't swipe them. I find that tapping at opposite ends of the logo works more consistently. Also, the dark isn't dark enough, and the light isn't light enough. I also don't like the style. Overall however, the good outweighs the bad. They are useful for me.

Been looking for sunglasses like this for a long time, previously I always used photochromic glasses cuz the color change was too slow and inconvenience.. I am very satisfied with C1!

Got them and everything worked right out of the box. Took them out for a ride pretty much immediately, and the tint change is actually really useful when you’re going between bright sun and shade. Didn’t have to think about it much, which is kind of the point. Pretty impressed so far.

Finally, sunglasses that actually work inside the car! Since the POVEC C1 isn't dependent on UV light like standard photochromic lenses, I can manually adjust the tint anywhere. Swiping before entering highway tunnels gives instant clarity without optical distortion.

If you suffer from light sensitivity, the POVEC C1 is a lifesaver. On-demand manual control lets me switch to dark mode on blindingly bright days or lighten it up instantly when moving into the shade or indoors. It has completely eliminated my eye fatigue without the hassle of swapping glasses.

Instant tint control actually works as advertised! The 1-second reaction time makes a massive difference when moving between harsh sunlight and shade.

Charging it now. Can't wait to try. Maybe it will make me a better rider.😄
