Our co-founder Alexis found freedom in the mountains — skiing, cycling, always chasing elevation. But on a ride in the Alps, everything changed in a second. As he burst out of the forest, a blast of sunlight turned the world to white, blinding his line of sight. A hidden rock caught his wheel — and the trail met him hard.

Our Team: Vision Meets Expertise
When Alexis set out to solve sudden light-shift challenges outdoors, he met James — a PhD in Optical Science and fellow founder then working in Silicon Valley on the same problem. Together with Austin, an outdoor gear specialist, they fused advanced optics with mountain-tested experience to build eyewear for athletes who never slow for the light.

We took electrochromic material once used in luxury automotive glass and engineered it into an ultra-light lens for athletes. With manual light control and one-second tint adjustment, you command your vision — adapting to shifting mountain, trail, and road light conditions on demand.
